-Develop meaningful relationships where everyone understands and discovers their significant sense of belonging
-To create a radical, authentic community that re-presents the life of Christ in actions and beliefs
-Community is something greater than ourselves in which each person finds ultimate purpose.
-Dismantle the preoccupation with individualism and independence to attain connectedness with others. Individualism erodes community.
-Pursuing a biblical, Jesus-centered lifestyle to present a powerful new model for change and corporate lives.
-The future of the church depends on whether or not we develop true community
Through small groups- to create authentic relationships, to develop fully mature followers of Christ.
-The early church understood that a decision to follow Jesus was a decision to make community the hub of their world, even when it required the abandonment of existing social structures
-Re-socialization includes re-prioritizing all relationships in order to create true, authentic community
-The Christian faith boldly and counter-culturally invites us to think of others as more important than ourselves.
ABOUT US
-Many of our churches are becoming out of touch with today’s culture. They fail to CONNECT the Good News of Jesus Christ and Kingdom Life with the current needs facing our world.
The church has increasingly become unattached to culture. Experts say that within this decade, church attendance will decrease to 10-15% of any community.
